Gaganam, the Nagarjuna starrer in the direction of Radha Mohan (of Akasamantha fame) on Sri Venkateswara Creations and Matnee Entertainmnets banner will be releasing in the second week of November.
A media briefing was arranged at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad and attended by the film unit – Dil Raju, Nagarjuna and Bharath Reddy.
Dil Raju said: ``At present Gaganam is undergoing the postproduction works. In the second week, we will be releasing the film in both Telugu and Tamil. Radha Mohan dealt with the subject in a different format. From the start to finish, each frame will have a novel treatment. The duration of the film is two hours. It is an aerial journey on which a number of people will be traveling. When the flight gets hijacked – what will be the mental status of the passengers? It forms the suspense and thrilling experience for the audience.``
Nagarjuna said: ``This is an action-packed thriller. I did the role of a commando. We were inspired by the Kandahar hijack. When planes get hijacked, what would be the role of commandos? The director had definitely studied the subject well before getting to mould his own subject. The film would definitely prove that the Telugu people too could make highly successful films on the internal front.``
Nagarjuna further said that there are no songs in the film. ``With such a thrilling story, the audience themselves would beat us with chappals if we dare to put songs. Prakash Raj gave an extraordinary performance.``
