OH HAPPY WEEK:
Hello there dear fashionistas,
I have more than plenty reasons to be in high spirits this week.
First, my lovely baby blog was featured in TimeOut Lisboa, one of the coolest magazines to be featured in, those days.
And second, my dear friend Carolina de Morais Sarmento (she was featured here and here) and me are heading to Paris Fashion Week on Saturday.
How cool is that?
We don’t know already our full schedule, but I believe that we will have some nice surprises for you, my darling readers!
So far we are attending Andrew Majtenyi's Autumn/Winter 2011
Collection launching at Galerie Cadain and obviously we are going to all the Colette-Chanel Temporary Store events.
For those who have no idea what I’m writing about:
From 1st to 10th of March, CHANEL and COLETTE will blend their creative talent to open a temporary boutique at 336-340 rue Saint-Honoré. This ephemeral and eclectic store will match fashion, visual arts and musical performances in a rock’n’roll vibe. Definitely an event than we just cannot miss! (more information here)
CHANEL-COLLETE TEMPORARY STORE SCHEDULE:
March 5 : Graffiti artist ANDRÉ will be customising bags between 3pm and 6pm
March 7 : Graffiti artist FAFI will be customising bags between 4pm and 6pm
March 8 : CHANEL nail bar between 3pm and 6pm
March 9 : SO-ME, graphic artist and illustrator, will be customising bags between 4pm and 6pm
March 10 : CHANEL nail bar between 3pm and 6pm
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY: GET SOME CHANEL
Hello there beloved Fashionistas!
I'm not a Valentine kind of person (I don't know if you notice the lack of Valentine's crap on my blog). But I believe that any day is a good day to show some LOVE, and because of that I'm sharing some CHANEL love with you guys.
Hope you get a lot of CHANEL amazing jewelry today!
LOVE,
PEP
LOVE IS IN THE HATS:
I discovered recently at this blog, the Maison Michel.
A prestigious Parisian brand (since 1936), exclusively dedicated and renowned by their exquisite head accessories as hats (my biggest fashion love), headbands and head jewelry.
Since 2006, Laetitia Crahay - the Head of accessories and jewellery at CHANEL - become also the Artistic Director and designer of Maison Michel, which explains the strong, fresh and seductive identity of the designs, that have already become essentials for all the prominent fashionistas.
This spring/summer, the Maisons lookbook was shot by the legendary, Keiser de la mode, Herr Karl Lagerfeld and features a lot of well-known cool faces as Bambi Northwood Blyth, Lou Doillon, Abbey Lee and so on.
Descobri recentemente neste blog, a Maison Michel.
Hey, Do You Have $1,250?

You're REALLY Gonna Need This Nautical Striped Blazer From LOFT
UPDATE: Check out LOFT's nautical striped blazer in all of its glory!
Last night I went to the LOFT Holiday 2010 presentation, and while I liked what they were doing with subtle updates to winter classics -- the preppy tweed skirt below with a black silk overlay -- I left with one piece on my YES PLEASE list. The nautical striped wool blazer above. Is it a Givenchy's Springl 2010 blue and white striped blazer? Who can say? But I love the idea of warm wool jacket in a theme usually associated with warmer months. (More cool Breton striped tops here at Dreamhaute.)
And check out that Karen Walker/ Coco Chanel-inspired Breton striped top with a cute floral overlay. Cute on its own or layered under a blazer or safari jacket. I'm into it!
Oh, and speaking of safari jacket, I've been meaning to pick up Loft's safari jacket for forevs. Laziness alone has been a barrier to my owning that jacket:
($79.50, LOFT)

Seriously though, put aside your Mom-jeans conception of LOFT, because they're really stepping their game up (if you're not getting a J.Crew-y vibe already.) And they LOVE a sale. I got an amazing pair of black pegleg harem pants that look like Vanessa Bruno/ Phillip Lim for like $19. They practically paid me to buy them. Point is: LOFT = LOVE
I ♥ CHANEL
