Katie and Jeanne Yang hosted a preview event for their Holmes & Yang Fall 2011 collection at Barneys New York on Tuesday, 15.
After the event, Katie and her friends visited the Teuscher chocolate store where she bought a toy toucan for daughter Suri.

while Katie was busy, Suri was spotted out & about in NYC with nanny.

Suri is also wearing Pink UGG Boots, which she first wore on December 17th 2010 and holding Clifford the Big Red Dog, which was first seen on July 21st, 2009.

Suri, Katie and Tom had a dinner at Yaletown Thai restaurant in Vancouver on Monday, 7.

Suri is once again wearing her favorite Faux Fur Coat by Eliane et Lena, which she first wore on January 7th, 2011.

Believe me, I did not create or doctor this image. You are ACTUALLY looking at a pair of WAX DEMIM LEGGINGS WITH STIRRUPS! Or, if you REALLY wanna go there, they're WAX JEGGINGS with stirrups. Gap! Have you LOST it?

Actually, I don't HATE them or anything. They're so deliciously Olivia Newton John in the last scene in "Grease" that I almost appreciate the sentiment. Anyway, like 'em or not, in the words of Radiohead, "this is really happening."

I just bought these two shoulder zip pullover sweatshirts, since I realize I own almost no tops that aren't t-shirts, and most of those I hate or have a cat on them, which is fine for sometimes but not all the time. So I'm trying to diversify with some basic tops.

Style Spotlight: Gap Leather Utility Jacket

Gap's new belted black leather jacket stopped me in my tracks when I passed it in the window of their Times Square location. It's clearly not meant to be... yet... since it's sold out in medium (and is it just me or does Gap run ENORMOUS these days), but I've got my eye on you, black leather jacket! You with the super-convenient hip pockets and the skinny, push-up-able sleeves.

Cute Shirt Alert: 7 For All Mankind/ Mika Ninagawa Photo-Print Flower Tee

While I'M SUPER particular about floral prints -- forecast: sometimes cute, with a high chance of OD'ing on '90s grunge-girl nostalgia -- I freaking LOVE a photo print. Especially 7 For All Mankind's small collection of Japanese photographer Mika Ninagawa's floral photos. I LOVE the bold fuschias and quick flashes of blue.

It's a LITTLE tricky to style without veering into Totally Cheesy Territory (avoid the overly obvious black pants/ black blazer combo because then the shirt's just way too loud) but I'm thinking these light-rinse Gap jeans:

Such Great Heights: Gap Design Editions by Pierre Hardy Neutral Floral Bow Wedges

Were I to even attempt to walk in these neutral wedges -- they're part of Gap Design Editions by Pierre Hardy's collection -- I think I'd tumble. I think I'd lay down and almost die. That is a FIVE AND A HALF INCH WEDGE we're talking about. But if you have enough ankle control, coordination and luck, have at it. I never get sick of that sophisticated putty color.
