THE BRANDERY BARCELONA - OVERVIEW:

Photobucket

Well guys I’m back!

Too many Photoshop and Illustrator later, I’m finally ready to show you a proper overview of The Brandery: The brands, the catwalk shows, the conferences, the environment, the streets and the street style. (The 2 last ones in another post)

Photobucket

During those four days I run into really cool and trendy urban brands and very talented young designers that I’m dying to show you. They are very reticent about photographing the collections so I’ll have to show you their pieces and lookbooks in later posts.

This urban and contemporary fashion trade show looks a lot like Lisbon Fashion Week, but way bigger and with little show rooms with Fall/Winter 2011/12 collections and conferences. By the way, the conferences were one of the super, über, highlights of The Brandery.

It was exceptionally interesting to get the chance of listen to economic, fashion and trend experts (coolhunters) talking about fashion, trends and consume behaviour in this new paradigm.

Another of the highlights were the second bloggers meeting and the international launch of Custo Barcelona’s second line, Custoline.

There was also this open backstage, so the visitors could watch what happens there before and after the shows. I try to get some pics of the models running from the catwalk to the changing rooms, but it was too dark and they are too fast and the pics turn out too bad. ahahah

NEW TEMPLATE ON STORE!

Photobucket

HEY THERE GUYS!

Yesterday Fashion-À-Porter reached its SECOND YEAR and unfortunately I wasn't able to be online to celebrate it with you! Shame on me! Lol

Those four days in Barcelona were absolutely overwhelming and I really want to thank Expotec for the invitation. It was really thoughtful of you!

The Brandery was very productive and I discover a lot of cool labels and new designers that I really wanna share with you in future posts.

THANK YOU immensely for the visits, the comments and the support you gave to my blog for the past two years.

Hope you like the new template!

Lots of love!

XOXO

Pepa
